Australian Boulder Opals - October birthstone
 
Odin turns 3 today!! And as per Nude Jewels tradition, every year on his birthday I release an epic Australian boulder opal collection. As well as opal being Odin's birthstone, (which gives me a cheeky excuse to be covered in them) boulder opals are my all time favourite stone for jewellery. I love working with them as no two boulders are the same and the colour ranges in them are crazy! You can never get bored of a boulder opal.
 
I buy my opals directly from the miners in Australia, they mine, cut and polish them all themselves. As ethical as you can get.
 
An absolutely crazy rainbow boulder opal. The colour on this one is unreal!!! She has 3 silver ball accents and is set on a thin hammered band.
