The Protector 
DESCRIPTION 
My first ever wax cast experiments!! Hand carved out of wax and cast into sterling silver. These were so fun to make! There was something so freeing about letting go of perfection and having fun moulding and shaping. It was so childlike, like playing with play dough. 
Of course my first attempts would be mermaid inspired.
Inspired by the figure heads you see at the front of ships, she is a sign of protection for wandering souls of the ocean. 
This is a made to order piece. I will remake her in wax, get a mould made of her and then get her cast. So she will be slightly different to the one seen here as she will be a new wax model. 
I will keep orders open on her for a few weeks before closing.
She will also need to be hallmarked.
